#15 T1D Athletics: a chat with Tonya on sports, teens, pumps, and one pretty awesome clothing line
In this episode I get to chat with Tonya from T1D Athletics, a clothing line for Type 1 athletes, their coaches, family members, friends and fans. Tonya's son Caden is now 14 and has been living with T1D for the past 6 years. About a year ago their family made the decision to launch T1D athletics as a way to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes and normalize the conversation around T1D, especially in the world of sports. Tonya and I also talk pumps and sports with teens including handling coaches, being prepared for games and blood sugars with activity and competition. It's a good one, mamas. Enjoy!
